New Features 

Bulk Shipping Labels Beta

Cart Shipping has added Bulk Labels, which enables the creation of shipping labels and packing slips for multiple orders at once. Skip the repetitive, time-consuming task of one-at-a-time label creation and instead generate them in batches.

To Access this Feature:

1. Make sure you are enrolled in Cart Shipping

2. Reach out to Support to enable the Bulk Labels beta

3. Select orders ready for shipment from the orders page

4. Get rates for the entire batch

5. Generate a single PDF for packing slips and shipping labels

Google Address Autocomplete

You and your shoppers can now use Google address autocomplete in checkout, order edit, and customer edit for free. This add-on is available to all brands and will increase checkout conversion, reduce returns, and make address work on orders and customers faster. Google address autocomplete is automatically enabled for all brands not using Smartystreets.

Cart.com Integration

You can now access the entire Cart.com platform right from your store. You will notice a few small changes in this build.

What's Changing:

• Login - You will now need to sign in with your email address instead of your username. In addition to your store, you can also sign in via Cart Console or from Cart.com .

• Top Navigation Bar - The new top bar allows you to navigate to other Cart.com products and services.

  

• Account Settings - Clicking on "Manage Account" under your profile will now take you to a global Cart settings page. The same settings are available.

What’s Not Changing:

• Support - You will still have access to the same support team.

An in-app guide will be present on first sign-in after these changes to help orient you in the new experience.

Cart Feed Marketing Integration in Apps & Addons

In Apps & Addons, you can now activate our integration with Cart Feed Marketing.

Feed Marketing lets you create dynamic marketing feeds for over 2,000 channels and marketplaces - including Google Shopping, Facebook, eBay, Bing, and Pinterest - and set automated feed rules from a central platform to drive shoppers to your store.

Cart Feed Marketing Overview:

• No feed limit - process shopping feeds with an extensive number of products

• Create a master feed - copy feeds from one channel and use it to painlessly expand to new channels such as Google Shopping, Facebook, Instagram, Walmart, eBay, Bing, Pinterest, and more.

• Submit all product variants - you can merge and unmerge your product feed based on the channel requirements

• Assign Google Shopping categories to your products effortlessly

• Custom channels - create your own feed template to fit your exact needs 

• Easy Mapping - create and edit your product feeds by easily setting up complex rules

• Manage your shopping feed, and optimize your product title, description, and more powerful fields

• Use powerful feed optimization tools like look-up tables and regular expressions.

• Use lookup tables for missing information in the source feed

• Include or exclude seasonal or out-of-stock products with just a few clicks

• Review your product feed and check for errors before campaigns go live

Feature Improvements

Admin Page & Functionality

• Full-Page Admin Views - Products, orders, customers, and other pages are now full-width pages. We’ve redesigned the pages so the content takes the full page width and has more information in view. In the future, we’ll update various areas on products, orders, and customers to reduce scrolling.

• Search V2 - The search experience for products, orders, and customers has been updated to help you find records faster. The most-used filters are now easily available next to the search bar.

• Simultaneous Order Edit - You can now edit multiple orders in different tabs simultaneously in the admin to improve productivity.

Performance

• Checkout - In the Foundations theme, shipping address and shipping options are now two separate steps. This change will increase checkout performance by improving page and step load times while reducing the chance a shopper encounters a page refresh.

• Responsive Image Settings - Tags for lazyloading and image dimensions have been added to help pages load faster, reduce resource consumption, and improve view rate. You can enable these settings in Global Theme Settings > Advanced Theme Settings and find more details in the help article.

• Widget Lazyloading - The Manufacturer and Browse by Category widgets are now lazyloaded to improve shopper experience.

Merge Codes

• Nested Conditional Merge Codes - Nested conditional merge codes now function as expected to support increased customizability.

• New Abandoned Cart Email Merge Codes - We have expanded the set of merge codes that work in the abandoned cart email to include: ##ITEMNAME##, ##ITEMID##, ##PRICE##, ##COST##, ##QUANTITY##, ##ITEMNR##, ##MANUFACTURERITEMNR##, ##ITEMTHUMBNAILURL##, ##ITEMTHUMBNAIL##, ##ITEMURL##, ##VARIATIONS##, ##PERSONALIZATIONS##.

Miscellaneous

• Product Import API Updates - Hierarchical category imports are now supported for batch product API imports.

• Colorado Tax - We have updated our Avalara and Tax Cloud integrations to support the Colorado delivery fee.
